Two Phone Party

Press & App Store Kit

Everything needed to list Two Phone Party on the App Store and Google Play, ready to copy and paste. Character counts are given for every field with a limit, and they've been counted, not estimated.

One thing to do before submitting anything: support@twophoneparty.com needs to be a real, working inbox (domain email forwarding to wherever you actually read mail) before either store listing goes live. Both stores list it as the contact address, and app review teams do occasionally send it a message.

Promotional text (Apple, ≤170 characters)

This is the part Apple lets you update anytime without a full review — good for seasonal pushes later. Current count: 169.

Full description (≤4000 characters)

Leads with the twist, then how it works, then the game list, then why it's built this way. Current count: 1,643 — plenty of headroom to add screenshots callouts or seasonal notes later.

Two Phone Party is a collection of head-to-head games with one twist: you and your opponent each play on your own phone.

No passing a phone back and forth. No fighting over who's upside-down on a shared screen. Just two phones, side by side or across the room, each showing its own player's view — your goal is always at the bottom of your own screen, your hand of cards is always yours to see.

HOW IT WORKS

Same Wi-Fi? The app finds your friend's phone automatically. Different networks? Tap "Play online," share a short room code, and you're matched up from anywhere. Either way, there's no sign-up, no account, and nothing to configure.

35 GAMES AND COUNTING

Board & strategy: Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, Ludo, Reversi, Mancala, Nine Men's Morris, Dominoes, Connect 4, Dots & Boxes, Tic Tac Toe, Large Tic Tac Toe, Snakes & Ladders, Shut the Box, Yatzy, Battleship, Biz Deal

Aim & skill: Darts, Bowling, Basketball, Archery, Carrom, Pool, Cornhole, Minigolf, Cup Pong, Ping Pong

Real-time & reflex: Air Hockey, Sling Puck, Tanks, Sumo, Whack-a-Mole, Memory, Red Hands, Rock Paper Scissors

WHY IT'S BUILT THIS WAY

No ads. No accounts. No analytics. No in-app purchases. Nothing tracked, nothing sold. Just two phones and a game, the way party games should work when you're actually in the same room.

Pause freezes the match for both players at once, so nobody sneaks in a move. Win a round and the running score sticks around for a quick rematch. And because it's all local by default, it works completely offline over a home Wi-Fi network — the internet only comes in if you choose to play someone who isn't in the room with you.

Flying somewhere? It's the perfect plane game: join the same in-flight Wi-Fi (no internet package needed) or share a hotspot, and play the whole flight. Road trips, camping, the subway — anywhere without a signal works too.

Note: the game count (35) is accurate as of this writing but will drift as games are added — recount before each submission rather than trusting this copy verbatim.

Apple keyword string (≤100 characters, comma-separated, no spaces after commas)

Skips words already covered by the app name and subtitle ("two," "phone," "party," "player," "games"), since Apple already indexes those. Current count: 97.

Apple privacy label ("App Privacy" questionnaire)

Answer: Data Not Collected. Walkthrough for the questionnaire:

"Does your app collect data from this app?" → No, the app does not collect data from
this app or from third-party partners.

If asked to confirm per category (Contact Info, Health, Financial Info, Location,

Purchases, Usage Data, Diagnostics, Other Data) — every category is "Not Collected."
There are no accounts, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no ad SDK, and no in-app

Screenshots

These must be captured on real devices. The website's own preview shots come from the Linux desktop build used for development and don't meet either store's requirements — both stores expect screenshots taken on (or accurately simulated for) actual hardware in the required resolutions.

Apple App Store:
6.9" display (iPhone 16 Pro Max class) — REQUIRED
    1320 x 2868 px or 1290 x 2796 px
6.5" display — optional, but recommended for older-device coverage
    1284 x 2778 px or 1242 x 2688 px
Up to 10 screenshots per size class.

Google Play:
  Phone screenshots — REQUIRED
Minimum 1080 px on the short side, roughly 16:9 or taller (portrait)
    2 to 8 screenshots
Feature graphic — REQUIRED, 1024 x 500 px, no device frame

Good shots to include: the lobby/pairing screen (shows the room code or LAN discovery), two phones mid-match on a real table showing each player's own view, and three or four different games so the variety reads at a glance — a board game, an aiming game, and a real-time one.
